Hunter & Lindy

Hunter & Lindy

Howdy!

We are the Warner’s! We met back in 2017 when we were both in College at Texas A&M volunteering at a church together. Hunter had a crush on Lindy from the beginning, but long story short, he was friend zoned and hoping to just get a chance later on. In 2019, Hunter started working for a church in B/CS and Lindy was finishing up her degree and finally started dating. We got married in November of 2020, and we have been in B/CS ever since. We both fell in love with the community, city, church, and our jobs. We honestly hope to be here for our entire lives unless the Lord makes it clear otherwise.

We love being outside with our dog (Hazy) who is a mini australian shepherd. She is now a year old, and has been turning into a really sweet, active, and loving dog. We do have a cat, although Hunter never wanted one, but Lindy had her (Navi) before marriage and she tagged along. Navi is a sweet and shy cat that honestly most people never see.

Like I said, we love being outside. Whether it’s camping, fishing, going on walks, or going to our favorite restaurants and sitting outside watching sports. Hunter convinced Lindy to get an old fishing boat which he enjoys going out with friends or bringing Lindy along. One of the goals that we have is to go to all the US National parks. Lindy has had this goal for a while, and Hunter jumped into this goal and it has been one of our favorite things to do together. Together we have almost gone to 10, and plan to go to several this year if we can. Lindy has actually gone to over 20 national parks so far. We love camping at them and hiking all the tough trails, even though they destroy us.

We both graduated from Texas A&M and are big Aggie fans. Lindy came from a family of Aggies and Hunter has been the first in his family. But we both love Aggie Sports. We have football and basketball season tickets for the first time this year.

Lindy is a fourth grade elementary school teacher. She loves her kids, co-workers, and the school. She went to Texas A&M with the goal to be in education as she came from a family of teachers. She hopes one day to be in administration within the school district. Hunter has been working at a church ever since graduating and has moved from several different positions. He always wanted to work at a church and he is enjoying being in the new role that he has and hopes to be at this church for a long time.

Lindy’s family is mostly in town now. Her parents just moved here and her brother and his family have been here for almost two years now. Hunter’s family is up in the Dallas area still and they visit regularly. We are both close to our families and also close with our in-laws. It has been a huge gift and blessing.

We have been hopeful for children for a long time. We have been trying to have kids for now 3 years, but have been unable to. Though at the beginning of us going on dates, we have both for a long time desired to be a resource for adoption. We are committed to trusting His will and His plan and are ready for whatever that is and whenever that is.
