Finding the Right Agency

We believe the best way to begin the adoption process is to find an agency that lines up with your values. Aggieland Adoptions is the adoption program of Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach (APO). We are first and foremost a Christian ministry. Our faith drives our passion to serve children born from unplanned pregnancies. No matter the outcome, our heart is to see these children raised in loving, stable, Christian families ~ either biological or adoptive.

We invite you to learn more about us and our values so you can determine if we are a good fit for you. We give you a great deal of information about our agency upfront, so you don’t have to put much time, effort, and money into research.

Building Your Family Through Adoption

The thought of adopting a child can be exhilarating (and sometimes terrifying!). We want to take the “terrifying” out of the equation for you and make your adoption experience as smooth as possible. We are a down-to-earth adoption agency staffed by caring Christians with years of experience helping couples build their families through adoption. Because adoption is all about families, you become a member of ours when you choose to work with Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach.

We promise to be by your side every step of the way. We provide lifelong support for our adopted children, adoptive parents, and birth parents. Our extraordinary long-term care is what sets us apart from other agencies.

Basic Requirements For Potential Adoptive Couples

The couple is a man and woman who have been married for at least three years.
Both are Christians and members of the same Bible-believing church.
One parent will be a “stay at home” parent (working no more than 20 hours per week outside of the home) for the child’s first three years. Husbands and wives can creatively share this responsibility.

Our Credentials

All adoptions are completed according to regulations set forth by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and the Texas Family Code. Aggieland Adoptions adheres to and exceeds the standards set by our licensing body and is committed to full transparency.

We are accountable to God first, our board of directors next, and the community in general. Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach is a member of the Christian Adoptions Alliance, Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and is a United Way partner agency.

Our connection to APO is an outer circle at best. We are the parents of someone who gave their child up for adoption. I thought my husband and I would have very little interaction with the adoption agency, but I was wrong. This agency's representative has gone above and beyond the paperwork and legalities. She has given godly advice both before the baby was born and continuing long after the adoption was finalized. I know if I called her today she would welcome my call and take the time to address my concerns with prayer and love.

I was going through a very tough time, and this organization held my hand the whole way. I experienced working with Karla, who by the way is sweet as ever! When I came home from the hospital from having my baby, I was really depressed. I was refusing to talk to anyone because I had just given my baby boy up for adoption.
