Noah & Cassandra
Hi! We are Cassie and Noah, and we live in Crockett, Texas. We have been married for 7 years and it has always been our dream to raise kids together. We both feel called by God to adopt and welcome a child into our hearts and home through the journey of adoption. At our rural homestead, we have slowly expanded our family to include not only our two dogs, Kolt and Rhea, but also 11 chickens! Our home is inviting and relaxing. We love the open, quiet country life, where we grow our own fruits and vegetables and nurture our animals.
On a typical day, you’ll find both of us at home together working side-by-side. We share an office where Noah works as an actuary, and Cassie runs a small crochet business from home. When we’re not working, you might find Noah tending the garden, working in the yard, or relaxing on the couch while he reads his bible. Cassie enjoys making 2-3 homemade meals a day, ranging from sourdough and muffins to elaborate meals. We both also enjoy playing board games, watching our favorite shows, and hosting groups of people at our home!
When we’re not at home, we love to take trips to beautiful places to hike and camp together. Cassie also enjoys frequenting our local combined coffee shop and bookstore, where she gathers with friends to work on crafts and chat together. Noah likes to travel with his friends to nearby college campuses to do street evangelism. Outside of our individual activities, we enjoy going to escape rooms, TopGolf, and eating at our favorite sushi restaurant.
Adoption has been on our hearts ever since we learned that we can’t have biological children of our own. While this was deeply disappointing at first, we started noticing God’s calling in our lives to adopt a child. At our church, not only do we see many families expanding to welcome more and more biological children, we also know and have connected deeply with several adoptive families. Through them, we feel God encouraging us not to give up on our dream to be parents, and to pursue opening our home to an adopted child of our own.
We are excited to share our lives with a baby, and we promise to give them all that we have: a loving, nurturing home, lasting relationships with extended family and friends, an active lifestyle, great educational opportunities, and, most importantly, to know how much they are loved by us and by Christ.
As parents, we hope to foster a home where a child can feel the overflowing love of Jesus. We aim to be the best teachers and counsellors to our future little ones and to echo the Lord’s nurturing and loving Spirit in everything we do. We look forward to all the milestones that come with having a child, as well as forging new traditions together as a family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us and considering us as potential adoptive parents. We admire your strength, bravery and willingness during this process. We have looked forward to being parents for many years and cannot wait to hold a sweet little one in our arms.
We hope we’ll be able to stay in contact, regardless of what level of openness you prefer, to let you know how the baby is growing, learning, and being loved in our care. Our hearts are full of gratitude with you during this process. We wish you the best as you choose what is right for you and the baby.
With love,
