Michael & Megan
Hi! We are Mike and Megan. We have been married for 12 years and have 2 children. We have been hoping to grow our family for almost 5 years and have struggled through three consecutive pregnancy losses. We live in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood full of other young families, and we go to church and school with quite a few of our neighbors. Our home is our happy place. We share it with two doodle pups, named Honey and Waffles. Whether it’s swimming in the backyard or just a movie night in the living room, being home all together is our very favorite place to be.
Mike works for a local tech company, and Megan is a teacher at the same school the girls attend. The girls have recently gotten very into sports, including basketball and volleyball. We are a pretty musical family. Both of the girls take piano lessons, and Megan and Mike serve in the church worship band. We are big on “game nights” and love hosting friends for dinner and games. We are all very blessed to have close friends we get to do life with. Our extended family is in the area (Mike’s brother is about 30 minutes away, and Megan’s family is about an hour and a half away), and we are very close to all of them as well. Our faith is the foundation of our lives and family. Church is a huge part of our lives, and being there feels like our second home, for all four of us.
Adoption is something we have had on our hearts since before we were even married, and we are excited to still grow our family through this avenue as well, if it’s a part of the Lord’s plan for us. Our #1 hope for our children is that they know the Lord and have a personal relationship with Him for themselves; that they always know how unconditionally loved they are by Him and our family.
